POLICIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Refund Policy

Discretionary refunds require a documented, cooperative attempt to resolve an issue within dk-media’s control. Mandatory rights remain separate.

The discretionary refund program

A discretionary refund may be considered where a problem within dk-media’s own control materially affects the hosting service and remains unresolved after reasonable troubleshooting. A discretionary refund request must be accompanied by a support ticket demonstrating your cooperation with troubleshooting and a reasonable opportunity for dk-media to resolve the issue. A refund is not automatic merely because a ticket is opened, an app behaves unexpectedly or a subscription is cancelled.

This program is discretionary only within the limits of applicable law. It does not replace withdrawal rights, legal guarantees, remedies for non-performance or any refund that the law requires.

What your support ticket must demonstrate

  • The affected subscription or service, the issue, when it started and its practical impact.
  • Relevant, non-sensitive evidence, reproduction information and the troubleshooting steps already attempted.
  • Cooperation with reasonable troubleshooting requests, including relevant information needed to diagnose the problem.
  • A reasonable opportunity for dk-media to investigate and resolve the issue, taking its nature and impact into account.

Request a review through the support-ticket channel associated with your subscription. There is no support-ticket or refund-submission backend on this website. Never provide passwords, complete payment-card details or unrelated private files.

What this discretionary program excludes

The discretionary program does not cover problems caused by:

  • Third-party applications, their defects, upstream changes or discontinued development.
  • Cloud providers, external APIs, indexers, source accounts or other third-party services.
  • Your hardware, devices, client applications, connection, ISP or local network.
  • Missing source permissions, paid licenses, compatible content or correct customer configuration.
  • Other circumstances outside dk-media’s own control.

These exclusions apply to discretionary refunds only. A cloud-provider or application problem does not, by itself, eliminate dk-media’s contractual responsibility or a statutory remedy where the law provides one.

Trials and cancellation are different

The trial period is seven days. Cancelling a trial ends access immediately. Cancelling a paid subscription creates a pending-cancel state through the renewal date and stops the next renewal.

Cancellation does not automatically return fees for a paid period. Any discretionary refund depends on the review described above. Any legally required refund follows the applicable law, not this discretionary decision.

Statutory withdrawal and other remedies

Eligible consumers generally have at least 14 calendar days to withdraw from a distance contract, subject to applicable exceptions. The seven-day trial does not shorten that period. Early service performance and digital-content exceptions require the relevant statutory conditions; there is no automatic waiver by choosing an app or beginning a trial.

A legal withdrawal request or a mandatory remedy is not conditional on opening a troubleshooting ticket, granting an additional discretionary repair window or accepting one of the exclusions above. Any lawful proportionate charge for requested early service performance and any refund deadline must follow the applicable statutory rules.

Ordering and payments are not available here. A future checkout must provide the withdrawal information, exercise method and any required form or confirmation before taking an order. See the Terms of Service.
